RMB Automotive hit top gear for charity when they joined forces with Enterprise Rent-a-Car to make a generous £1,000 donation to a charitable movement that shares of all its funds only with Teesside good causes.
Enterprise’s own charity, the Enterprise Holdings Foundation, makes regular donations to the chosen charities of the company’s customers.
When Pete Cummins, the re-marketing account manager for Enterprise in the north-east, gave RMB in Stockton opportunity to nominate a charity, there was only one choice for them, as patrons of Middlesbrough and Teesside Philanthropic Foundation.
RMB, specialists in selling Toyota, Lexus, Renault, Dacia and Ford from their state-of-the-art showroom on Cygnet Drive in Stockton, are patrons of the Philanthropic Foundation, which has raised £1.7 million for Teesside good causes in less than five years.
Robert Bennett of RMB said: “As proud patrons of the Philanthropic Foundation, RMB are passionate about playing a big part in the local community. Thankfully, so too are our friends at Enterprise Rent-a-Car. We had no hesitation in nominating the Foundation when Pete asked us who we’d like them to donate £1,000 to.”
RMB’s fellow patrons, who each donate £5,000 a year to the Foundation, include Bulkhaul, Cleveland Cable Company, px Group, InBond, Erimus Insurance Brokers, the Endeavour Partnership, Active Chartered Financial Planners, Devereux Transport, Evolution, Nortech, CPD Bodies and Middlesbrough FC.
