Heroic Effort By Local Firms to Deliver Hand Sanitiser To Tees Charities

Published on: 15th April 2020

Fighting the Covid-19 threat together – that’s the amazing people at our #Stockton-based patrons InBond who have joined forces with their clients Yarm Distillery to distribute bottles of desperately-needed hand sanitiser to key Teesside charities.
The Foundation was delighted to help nominate the charities in need of a wonderful donation of 75 five-litre bottles of sanitiser produced by Yarm Distillery, who have converted their usual operations to manufacture the product.
Another local firm, Northern Safety Supplies, also got in touch to offer a further 100 50ml bottles of hand sanitizer.
So our brilliant patrons InBond – the Portrack Lane-based warehousing and logistics experts – offered to deliver the product to a list of nine local charities who told us they were in short supply of sanitiser.
InBond are now delivering the bottles to Butterwick Hospice Care, Little Sprouts, Poolie Time Exchange, Hartlepool Alice House Hospice, Bloodrun EVS and the foodbanks in Middlesbrough, Redcar, Billingham and Hartlepool.
Special praise for Richard Marsden at Yarm Distillery and both Craig Rye and Phil Lyons at InBond for their special efforts in making this happen.
We’re all in this together – and the burden is eased when we all work together too.
