Meet Our Supporters – Resolution

Published on: 26th June 2020

We love Teesside – and we love the way the Philanthropic Foundation helps the disadvantaged among our fellow Teessiders. That’s the message from marketing, PR and design agency Resolution.
The Stockton business – led by MD Sharon Starkey – is one of the generous local firms to have signed up as a member of our Infant Hercules Charity Club.
By paying £1,000 a year or £100 a month, small local businesses can support our charity work – and be part of a unique club that meets (virtually at present!) to hear from inspiring local business leaders.
Formed by Sharon six years ago, Resolution’s small team is focused on a local client base who are great at what they do but needing a helping hand to let people know just how good they are.
Explaining why she’d signed Resolution up to support our work, Sharon explained: “We love the region, the whole team lives and works here, and we believe great things happen in this region when people and businesses come together and collaborate.
“The Philanthropic Foundation does all that really well – it brings people together, it supports the region and it helps those who are in need of some help.
“I believe we have a responsibility to help those less well off than we are – and I like the way the Philanthropic helps other charities and individuals. I particularly love the caravan holidays it offers to disadvantaged families and the way it sign posts people to other charities if it can’t help.
And Sharon added: “I think the Infant Hercules Charity Club is such a great idea because, while we want to do our bit to support the community, we couldn’t commit to the £5,000 a year to be a Patron, but this scheme gave us an opportunity. We’re thrilled we can do that.”
