The Teesside Charity has teamed up with the Teesside Airport Foundation to bring you a charity golf day at the world class golf course, Rockliffe Hall.
Taking place on Tuesday 7th May, the inaugural Teesside ‘V’ the Rest of the World Charity Golf Day will be in true ‘Ryder Cup’ style playing singles match play. It starts at 11:00 am with a shotgun start and we have 9 Teesside team places available and they are based on first come first served.
The format will be singles match play with a maximum handicap of 24 for men and 36 for women, all players will be matched by their handicaps on the day. Companies are invited to put forward 4 players at a cost of £480 per team which includes refreshments, a breakfast sandwich on arrival, on-course competitions and a two-course dinner followed by presentations.
Team Captains are Bill Scott, CEO from Wilton Engineering for Teesside and Phil Forster, MD from Teesside Airport for the Rest of the World. There will be a trophy for the winning team and prizes for the longest drive and nearest the pin.
We are looking forward to a fantastic day with all the hallmarks of a great game of golf including fierce competition, pride and teamwork, all the while raising much needed funds for local charities. There will also be opportunities for companies to sponsor a hole.
