Are you passionate about the outdoors and helping others connect with nature? Join Open Country as a Volunteer Activities Co-ordinator and play a hands-on role in making the countryside more accessible to everyone.
You’ll help plan and lead a variety of rewarding activities, from conservation and access projects to wellbeing walks and outdoor adventures. Working closely with supportive staff and fantastic partner organisations, you’ll be part of something truly meaningful — helping people of all abilities enjoy the physical and mental benefits of nature.
This role is varied and flexible, with options to get involved in weekend activities, midweek sessions supporting mental health, and practical outdoor work. A DBS check is required (Open Country will cover the cost), and although it’s helpful to have steel toe cap boots and warm clothes, they can provide these if needed.
If you enjoy being active, social, and outdoors, this could be the perfect volunteering opportunity for you!
