About West View Project Children and Young People’s Activity Centre – West View Project was established in 1980 by a group of residents who wanted to create a safe space for children in the local area to play. This founding aim remains at the heart of the organisation, which became a registered charity in 2017.
The charity operates the Miers Avenue youth centre, open four evenings a week, catering to children aged 5 to 19. The centre provides a safe and supportive environment for young people to grow, learn, and connect.
About West View Project CIC – West View Project CIC is a community-based initiative that has been active for nearly 30 years in the West View area of Hartlepool. The CIC provides children from underserved areas opportunities to access green spaces and engage in physical activities, with a core aim of improving the quality of life and aspirations of young people in Hartlepool and surrounding areas.
