Regeneration of Communities (RoC) are a community gardening group who provide educational workshops for members of the community to engage with, so they can learn how to grow their own food, working in harmony with nature and become more self-sufficient.
Their Community Action Day which is on every 2nd and 4th Friday of the month however, they can accommodate small groups on an alternative prearranged date.
RoC works with nature and gardens as organically as possible. They practice a No-Dig. They don’t chemicals. They do their best to reduce, recycle, repurpose. They like to work with like minded people.
They do have tools/equipment needed for the jobs. Although they would advise people to bring their own gardening gloves if possible.
Job may include- Seed sowing, weeding, mulching, building raised beds, moving compost and manure & painting the shed.
