Nite Light CIC are always thinking of new ways to help our most disadvantaged Teessiders and are running a regular project to help rough sleepers.
This role involves working with other volunteers to help create sleeping bags out of crisp packets. Crisp packets are washed in the washing machine, then cleaned by hand. Once they are ready they are then carefully opened up and ironed along the edges to fuse the crisp packets together. Once covered in a layer of foil, these are them distributed to rough sleepers in Teesside.
