Details

Are you skilled with tools and enjoy tackling odd jobs? Middlesbrough Sea Cadets, a uniformed youth organisation for young people aged 9–18, is seeking a practical and reliable volunteer to help keep their unit in top shape.

The Sea Cadets inspire young people to achieve their potential through challenges and nautical adventures, guided by the customs and traditions of the Royal Navy. However, they’re in urgent need of a handyperson to take on essential maintenance tasks that their busy volunteers don’t have the time or expertise to handle.

Your help will be invaluable in completing tasks such as changing lightbulbs, fixing a leaky tap, hanging a portrait of the King, and maintaining the outside space by removing moss and weeds.

The Sea Cadets train on Monday and Thursday evenings from 7:00 pm to 9:15 pm, but access to the unit can be arranged at other times to suit your schedule.

If you’re a dependable, skilled individual who enjoys making a tangible difference, this is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a worthwhile cause and support young people in your community.

Interested? We’d love to hear from you!
