This opportunity is based in Redcar & Cleveland
Skelton Primary School based in East Cleveland, would love to have more people in school to listen to their children read. Many of the children do not get the opportunity to practise their reading at home and this significantly impacts their ability to make progress.
Volunteering would be be during school hours, preferably weekly for an hour or two a week.
All volunteers would work with children in the proximity to the classroom, where the teacher would have overall responsibility for the children.
All volunteers would need to be DBS checked
