Our sincere thanks to all of those who took part in the world’s biggest half marathon, the Great North Run, who have so far raised £10,597 for the Philanthropic Foundation.
We promise all the runners and their generous sponsors that the money will go to some truly wonderful causes right across Teesside, helping to make it an ever better place to live and work.
The runners – more than 30 of them – included representatives of our patrons, PX Group, InBond and Active Chartered Financial Planners, together with individual patrons Alisdair Beveridge and Teesside Centurion Paul Crinnion.
Foundation chairman Andy Preston said: “We’re extremely grateful to the fantastic effort made by all of those who ran on behalf of the Foundation.
“The money will be donated to a range of fantastic causes right here on Teesside.”
