A generous local winner of the National Lottery has shared some of her winnings with our Foundation – to share among those who need it most during the coronavirus crisis.
The donor – who wishes to remain anonymous – has agreed to donate £6,000 to help put food on the table for local families desperately struggling with their finances during the crisis.
And she is giving us a further £7,000+ towards our iPad appeal for coronavirus victims in local hospitals, hospices and care homes – with any surplus funds helping towards PPE for frontline care and charity workers.
We’ll make sure these generous donations make a small but tangible difference to the lives of those being directly affected by coronavirus.
Our thanks to our big-hearted Lottery winner.
