The news is out! We’re marking our ten years of fundraising with a new name and new branding.
Middlesbrough and Teesside Philanthropic Foundation, which has raised more than £4 million across the region since 2011, will now be known as The Teesside Charity.
The charity was set up by Andy Preston and Tanya Garland in 2011 and is now backed by a Who’s Who of local business names.
Karl Pemberton, one of our Trustees, said: “Over the past ten years, our charity has raised millions of pounds and supported hundreds of local charities, community groups, sports clubs – and tens of thousands of Teesside people.
“And remember – every penny stayed right here on Teesside. But we couldn’t have done any of it without the backing of our generous supporters, so thank you to every one of them.
“Now, as we look to the next 10 years, the big news is that we’ll no longer be Middlesbrough and Teesside Philanthropic Foundation.
“We will now be The Teesside Charity – the same charity with the same values but a new name and new but familiar logo.
“And we’d ask our supporters to keep doing what you’re doing – you’re helping us change Teesside lives for the better.”
