Our £25,000 Golden Giveaway is back!

Our Golden Giveaway is back for the first time since Covid – with a massive £25,000 waiting to be divided between worthy Teesside charities, not-for-profit organisations, community groups and schools.

A panel of our Patrons will select 24 worthy groups from across the region, each of whom will receive at least £500.

However, there’s the potential for them to win up to £5,000 when each good cause is featured on our Facebook page and the public are asked to vote for the one they believe most deserves the biggest share of the money.

Topping the vote will bring in £5,000, second place scoops £2,500, third and fourth place receive £1,750, fifth through to eighth place are awarded £1,500, while the remainder walk away with £500.

The money will be handed over to organisation representatives at a glittering pre-Christmas event at the home of Middlesbrough Football Club – the Riverside Stadium – on December 2.

Voting for the Golden Giveaway opens on Friday November 12, so watch out for how to cast yours nearer the time!
