A Who’s Who of Teesside companies were represented as fundraising golf overcame Covid to raise more than £4,500 for local worthy causes.
The Philanthropic Foundation’s Annual Golf Day at Rockliffe Hall saw 15 teams take part including representatives of our patrons PX Group, Azets, Erimus Insurance Brokers, Crystal Galleries, InBond, Active Chartered Financial Planners, Middlesbrough Football Club, The Build Directory.
Also represented were Wilton Group, JH Mechanical Services, Barclays (Doxford Park) and Vintage Chartered Financial Planners, together with teams put together my our friends Michael Cartwright Photography, Kev Neal and Dave Radford.
All of the funds raised will go towards our ongoing work to support the least privileged Teesside families and local community groups.
Thanks to our Active Chartered Financial Planners and Azets (formerly Baldwins) for sponsoring the 1st and 18th holes, and to Barclays (Doxford Park) for their match funding.
A big thank you also to Wilton Group, Anderson Barrowcliff, Rockliffe Hall and Barclays (Doxford Park) for providing raffle prizes.
Michael Arnold of px Group achieved in the best overall individual score, receiving a well-deserved trophy for his 41-point score – and the award for Best Team Score that he helped px win.
px topped the scoring with 91 points, narrowly ahead of Wilton Group with 89 and Azets with 88.
