In light of recent events, we would like to take a moment to share a message of support for those affected by the unrest in our town.
The Teesside Charity stands with the community and those who work to promote peace.
We are deeply saddened by the disorder that took place and our thoughts go out to those who were affected. We are incredibly proud of those who came together this week to restore our town and show unity within the community.
Thank you to the organisers, community members and council workers for cleaning up the area and showing the best of our community.
Thank you also to our emergency services for keeping people safe, and for the charities and charitable people supporting those affected.
Your kindness embodies the true spirit of our community.
A fundraising campaign has been set up by community member Idrees Rashid to support those affected. If you would like to support the campaign and help rebuild the community, you can donate here.
If you have been affected by recent events and would benefit from practical and emotional support for you, your family or your friends please reach out to Safer Communities. The support is free and can be accessed here.
