Ladies’ Lunch is a Blooming Success

Published on: 23rd November 2015

A Ladies’ Lunch proved a blooming success when an event starring “the north’s hippest florist” raised £3,000 for Teesside good causes.
Almost 80 local businesswomen attended the lunch at Middlesbrough’s newly rebranded Jury’s Inn.
Organised by charitable movement Middlesbrough and Teesside Philanthropic Foundation, the lunch featured a presentation by talented florist Adam Prest.
Adam has designed his floral art pieces for footballers’ wives and stately homes, described as “floral vomit” many of the displays he sees that lack distinction between one another.
All funds from the event, which featured a drinks reception, two-course meal and craft stalls, went towards helping worthy causes across Teesside
The foundation’s first Ladies’ Lunch at Rudby Hall in the summer raised £3,000.
The next Ladies’ Lunch is planned for February 11 at Acklam Hall. Tickets are priced £30 each by calling Mandy on 07948 191046 or email mandy.s@teessidecharity.org.uk
