There’s no masking Imprint’s generosity

It’s true that bad times always bring the good out in people – and that’s certainly true from the amazing people at Middlesbrough firm Imprint Applications, who presented a £5,000 cheque to the Philanthropic Foundation after agreeing to make a donation to our charity for every face mask they sold.

When their usual business supplying kit to local sports teams took a downturn during lockdown, Imprint came up with the idea of using their machines to produce bespoke face coverings.

These have been snapped up by the likes of Burnley and Wimbledon football clubs, rugby stars Saracens and local firm Tees Business.

And mayor Andy Preston – founder of our charity – also ordered thousands of red and white #UTB masks that Middlesbrough Council gave out to residents across the town.

Imprint’s Mark Holt said: “We’re proud Boro people here at Imprint and we felt it was only right to give back from our success.”

A cheque for £5,000 was presented by Mark to Andy Preston, who attended in his role as our founder and former chairman.

Imprint have pledged to carry on their commitment to the area with further donations in the future.

Ultimately, the profits from the face coverings have allowed Imprint to invest more in their own brand Tigra sportswear – and their plans are big!
“Our dream is to provide the kit for Middlesbrough FC,” reveals Mark.
